It takes many kinds of people, in many different roles around the county, to keep our Service functioning well. 

We employ around 280 wholetime firefighters, around 370 firefighters on the retained duty system, 30 control operators who answer 999 calls and mobilise our fire crews, and over 125 support staff who work in a whole variety of roles supporting the frontline, from vehicle technicians and project managers to cooks, administrators and accountants.

IT Services Engineer

Term:  6 months temporary contract.
