Ely fire station
Day-crewed (Monday to Friday) and retained
Ely fire station is in the East Cambridgeshire district. It operates two fire engines. The first is crewed by wholetime firefighters five days a week from 8.30am to 5pm. Between 5pm and 8.30am the fire engine is crewed by firefighters on a retained duty system. The second fire engine is permanently crewed by firefighters on a retained duty system.
The retained firefighters at Ely fire station train for two hours each week during their training evening. This is on a Monday between 7pm and 9pm.

Charity Car Wash - Held on September 13
Firefighters washed, shampooed and buffed your cars to perfection on Saturday, September 13th and raised a grand total of £496 for The Fire Fighters Charity.
