The fire station at Parkside, Cambridge, has been vacated for the redevelopment building works to commence.
While Parkside fire station is being rebuilt, firefighters have moved to a temporary fire station at Coldhams Lane. The district staff for Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire (managers, administrators, fire protection officers and community safety officers) have moved to the new Cambourne community fire station. If you need to contact any of the district team, please do so by using the email link at the top of this page.

About the Parkside Redevelopment Project
The Cambridge fire station at Parkside is to be redeveloped in a partnership between the Fire Authority and urban developers Stofords and Grosvenor. The current fire station will be knocked down and a new fire station will be built on the same site, over which will be residential apartments.
Vehicles at this station
There are no fire engines based at this station, however the High Volume Pump (HVP) and Hose Laying Vehicle (HL) are based at Cambourne, and crewed by firefighters from Papworth and Gamlingay.
