The fire station at Parkside, Cambridge, has been vacated for the redevelopment building works to commence.

Crews are now based at temporary buildings within the Territorial Army's centre at Coldham's Lane.

Four watches of wholetime firefighters (Blue, Green, Red and White) operate two water tenders, a rescue vehicle and a turntable ladder 24/7, 365 days a year.

The district staff for Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire (managers, administrators, fire protection officers and community safety officers) have moved to the new Cambourne community fire station.  If you need to contact any of the district team, please do so by using the email link at the top of this page.

About the Parkside Redevelopment Project

The Cambridge fire station at Parkside is to be redeveloped in a partnership between the Fire Authority and urban developers Stofords and Grosvenor.  The current fire station will be knocked down and a new fire station will be built on the same site, over which will be residential apartments.
