Huntingdon fire station is the largest fire station in the Huntingdonshire district. It is staffed 24/7 by firefighters who operate the first water tender and a rescue vehicle. There are four watches at Huntingdon - Blue, Green, Red and White. Each watch is run by a watch manager

There is a second water tender at Huntingdon which is crewed by retained firefighters. The station also houses the incident command unit, water foam carrier and the high volume pump - these appliances are crewed by retained firefighters on request.

The district staff are based at Huntingdon, including district management, administrators, fire safety and community safety officers and an HR adviser. It is also where the Service's training centre and instructors are located.
