Huntingdonshire District

Huntingdon district is the largest within Cambridgeshire, occupying an area of approximately 913 square kilometres.  It has a mix of rural and urban areas which are populated by 162,000 people, and has a number of major transport networks running though it including the A1, A14 and the East Coast Main Line railway.  There are approximately 7,000 business premises in this district, and around 65,000 homes.  Sitting in the west of the county, it shares borders with both Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.
