Our events planner lists future events that may be of interest to people in the community

The list will include things like charity events that you can support to help raise money for a good cause, fire station open days or community events away from the fire station we will be taking part in.

Saturday, July 5
Summer Fete at Bewick Bridge Community Primary School, Fulbourn Old Drift, Cherry Hinton
10.30am until 12.30pm
Firefighters from Cambridge Red Watch will be at the event to give fire safety advice to parents and children and to show them around the fire engine.

Thursday, July 10
Environment Action Day at Peveral Road, Cambridge
10am until 2pm
CFRS community safety officers, crew and community champions will be working with other local organisations to highlight safety measures to residents to stay fire safe and prevent arson in their area.

Saturday, July 12
Milton Summer Fair at Milton Recreation Ground, Coles Road, Milton
Event runs 1.30pm until 6pm and Red Watch Cambridge will be there between 2.30pm and 4.30pm
Firefighters from Red Watch will be on site with a fire engine talking to residents about fire safety and showing them around the fire engine and equipment.

Friday, July 25
Golden Age Event at Kind Edward Centre, Chatteris
10am until 1pm
Community champions will be giving free safety advice specifically tailored to residents over the age of 60.

Sunday, July 27
Fire Station open and fun day at Ramsey Fire Station
10am until 4pm
A fun day for the public including lots of games, family activities and of course firefighters, the fire engine, and even Fireman Sam. A barbecue will also be available. All proceeds to The Fire Fighters Charity.

Saturday, September 20

Golden Age Fair at Doddington Village Hall
Midday until 4pm
Community champions will be running an electric blanket exchange with support from other local partners to ensure over 60s have safe working electric blankets. Other fire safety advice will also be available.
