Workshops for businesses
We run regular workshops to help businesses better understand and conform to fire safety legislation relevant to their trade and the premises in which they operate.
Generally we hold one per month and these are delivered from various places around the county.
The general workshops aim to give a brief explanation of the Fire Safety Order and the requirements of a fire risk assessment. Workshops can be organised to focus on specific sectors of the business community, such as licensing; care homes; retail etc., looking at the official guidance documents relating to that premises type. These focussed sessions may be arranged for a targeted audience by us, or they can be organised based on requests from the business community and our partnership groups.
