Two crews from Cambridge and Cottenham attended a garage fire in Burgess Road in Waterbeach. The garage, which was an end garage in a block of three and part of a residential premises, was well alight when crews arrived.

Two firefighters in breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a hydrant were used to extinguish the fire and crews managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjoining garage.

The garage was used as a workshop and contained a Mini.
