Kitchen fire - Hail Weston - Huntingdonshire

At 1.20am on Thursday February 4, two crews from St Neots were called to a house fire in High Street, Hail Weston. Crews arrived at 1.26am to find the fire contained within the kitchen. Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel and one jet to extinguish the fire, bringing it under control at 1.56am. The cause of the fire was accidental electrical, caused by a dishwasher. Crews returned to the station by 2.39am.
