Verge fire - A14 (eastbound) - Huntingdonshire

At 7.49pm two crews from Huntingdon were called to a verge fire on the A14 eastbound between Spittals and Godmanchester.
A spark from a broken down car had caused the grass to catch light.
The car was not involved in the fire.
Firefighters used a hose reel to tackle the fire and returned to the station by 8.25pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
