Bonfire - Burwell - East Cambs

One crew from Burwell was called to a bonfire which was out of control in Heath Road, Burwell.
Firefighters arrived and discovered a bonfire which had spread to nearby trees.
They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their fire station by 7.20pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
A fire service spokesperson said: "If you are going to have a bonfire, ensure it is well away from flammable items, such as trees, hedges and property.
"Stay with the bonfire at all times and have a bucket of water or a hosepipe handy in case it starts to spread."
