House fire - Trumpington - Cambridge

A crew from Cambridge was called to a dishwasher fire in Shelford Road.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their o by 8.19pm.

Cause of the fire was accidental.

A spokesperson for CFRS said: “A dishwasher fire is a timely reminder to think about the importance of electrical safety and not overloading sockets or extension leads with appliances.
