Vehicle fire - Nene Parkway - Peterborough

At 7.05am on Friday 4 August crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a vehicle fire on Nene Parkway.

Firefighters arrived to find a van well alight on Thorpe Wood roundabout. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 7.59am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
