Lorry fire - Linton - South Cambs

At 10.11am on Thursday 10 August a crew from Cambridge, along with the south roaming fire engine and a crew from Newmarket in Suffolk, were called to a lorry fire on High Street in Linton.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a lorry and a car. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet.

Crews returned to their stations by 12.55pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
