Combine harvester fire - Whittlesey - Fenland

At 6.20pm on Thursday 17 August crews from Stanground and Thorney were called to a combine harvester fire on Cock Bank in Whittlesey.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving farm machinery in a field. Using a hose reel they extinguished the fire before returning to their stations by 8.28pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
