Lorry fire - Thorney - Peterborough

At 6.45pm on Sunday 10 September crews from Dogsthorpe, Thorney and Stanground were called to a lorry fire on Bukehorn Road in Thorney.

Crews arrived to find a lorry well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 9.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
