House fire - Bourn - South Cambs

On Saturday (18) at 5.08am, crews were called to a house fire on Caxton End, Bourn.

Crews from Huntingdon, Ramsey, Chatteris, St Neots, Burwell, Cottenham, Cambridge, and the turntable ladder from Cambridge responded.

Crews arrived to find two garages and cars on fire, with had spread to the house and neighbouring property.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used hose reels to get the fire under control and prevent further spread.

The incident began scaling back at around 8am.

Firefighters reinspected the incident later in the evening and the following morning.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
