Fire in the open - Holme - Huntingdonshire

At 1.43pm on Wednesday 26 July crews from Stanground, Dogsthorpe and Thorney were called to a fire in the open at Holme Fen Nature Reserve.

Firefighters arrived to find woodland on fire, using a light portable pump and small gear they extinguished the fire before returning to their stations by 5.06pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
