Roof fire - Fengate - Peterborough

At 2.23pm on Saturday (11) crews from Stanground, Dogsthorpe and Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade were called to a roof fire on Storeys Bar Road in Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire confined to an extractor fan on the roof of an industrial building. The crews used an extended hose reel and small gear to extinguish the fire.

Crews returned to their stations by 4.10pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
