Garage fire - Millfield - Peterborough

At 10.13am on Wednesday (6) crews from Dogsthorpe and Stanground were called to a garage fire on Lincoln Road in Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find an oil burner well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

Crews returned to their stations by 11.10am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
