Skip fire - Fengate - Peterborough

At 2.51pm on Thursday (25) a crew from Stanground was called to a skip fire on Nursery Lane in Fengate.

Firefighters arrived to find a large skip containing household rubbish on fire. Wearing breathing apparatus firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their station by 3.50pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
