Barn fire – Thorney - Peterborough

At 9.23am on Saturday (18) crews were called to a fire on North Bank in Thorney.

Crews from Thorney, Dogsthorpe, Stanground Manea and the water carrier from Ramsey attended the incident.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a barn. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and jets and returned to their stations by midday.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
