Crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire in a refuse lorry in Rightwell West at the Bretton Centre in Peterborough.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their station by 10.33am.

Cause of the fire was accidental.
