Retained firefighter information evening
The aim of the information evening is to give anyone that may be interested in becoming a retained firefighter as much information as possible and will include a presentation on:
- What a retained firefighter is
- An outline of Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service
- How the retained service works
- Selection Process
This will incorporate the type of work that is conducted, the interaction in the community, commitment to availability, how to complete the application and availability forms, how long the process takes, what each step of the process is, looking at example test papers, what PQA's (Personal Qualities and Attributes) and rolemaps are, conditions of employment, pay and training.
There will also be a "Question and Answer" session.

All the workshops will be held at St Ives Fire Station, Ramsey Road, St Ives, PE27 5RA, and will start at 19.00 with an approx finish time of 21.15. Please contact a member of the Recruitment Team on 01480 444548 so that a place can be booked for you.
Should you be unable to attend a workshop you will still be able to apply to CFRS.
