Street parties

Let us know about road closures

Colourful bunting used at a street party

This year many people may be planning a street party to celebrate the royal wedding (29 May). If you are organising a street party you should contact the council, for advice and help closing your street.

Before the event takes place you should also contact the emergency services  to make sure they are still able to access your street and are aware that the party is taking place.

The easiest way to let us know about a planned street party is by filling out our online form. We will then let you know if we have any objections to the proposed road closures, or send you a letter confirming that we are happy for the closures to go ahead.
