FREE Business Fire Safety Seminars
We run regular workshops to help businesses better understand and conform to fire safety legislation relevant to their trade and the premises in which they operate.
The general workshop aims to give a brief explanation of the Fire Safety Order and the requirements of a fire risk assessment. It lasts about two hours and is free of charge. These are online sessions using Microsoft Teams.
Attendance at one of these should provide you with a better understanding of your responsibilities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (FSO) and guide you through the process of conducting a fire risk assessment.
Spaces for the sessions can be booked using the form below. Each session begins at 9.30am.
Workshops can be organised to focus on specific sectors of the business community, such as licensing, care homes, or retail etc., to look at the official guidance documents relating to that premises type. These focussed sessions may be arranged for a targeted audience by us, or they can be organised based on requests from the business community and our partnership groups.
