FREE workplace fire safety sessions

Introduction to Fire Safety in the workplace

We run FREE sessions to help businesses understand their responsibilities for relevant fire safety legislation.

Attending a session will provide a better appreciation of the Fire Safety Order, the need for assessment of fire risk and the application of fire safety measures within your workplace.

Presented by qualified Fire Safety Officers, the online sessions (using Microsoft Teams), will last around 90 minutes. There will be no expectation for you to appear on camera. There is also the option to ask questions throughout the session using the chat function.

Their are also face to face sessions, which will take place at the fire station listed below.

Both online and face to face sessions will begin at 9am.

Workshops can be organised to focus on specific sectors of the business community, such as licensing, care homes, or retail, to look at the official guidance documents relating to that premises type. These focussed sessions may be arranged for a targeted audience by us, or they can be organised based on requests from the business community and our partnership groups.
