Cambridge Fire Station was redeveloped on the site of the old station and we moved into the new station in June 2013.

Four watches of wholetime firefighters (Green, Red, Black and White) operate one water tender, one multi-functional aerial and pumping appliance and a rescue vehicle 24/7, 365 days a year.

Fire protection officers, community safety officers and a business support team also work from the station.

About the Parkside Redevelopment Project

The fire station was redeveloped in a partnership between the Fire Authority and urban developers Grosvenor. In 2010 the old station was knocked down and a new fire station was built on the same site, with new residential apartments built above.

The station commander is Danny Kelly.
