Car fire - city centre - Peterborough

At 1.15am on Tuesday (28) one crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire on Gladstone Street in Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a blue Vauxhall Corsa well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 2.25am.

The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
