Building fire - St Neots

At 2.09pm on Thursday (16) one crew from St Neots, one crew from Huntingdon and one crew from Stanground were called to a fire on West Street in St Neots.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the ducting of a four storey building. Using specialist working at height equipment they extinguished the fire with carbon dioxide extinguishers and a hose reel. A sub-surface camera was also to check the ducting for signs of fire.

The crews returned to their stations by 5.25pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
