Caravan fire - Turves - Fenland

Crews from Whittlesey and Stanground were called to a caravan fire, 7 metres by 3 metres, in Burnt House Road.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 10.47pm.

The caravan was unoccupied at the time and crews returned later that evening to reinspect it.

Cause of the fire was accidental by equipment.
