Flat fire - Coleridge ward - Cambridge

At 11.50pm on Saturday (3) two crews from Cambridge were called to a fire on Golding Road in Cambridge.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a ground floor flat. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

One male casualty was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by ambulance crews.

The crews returned to their station by 2am.
