Tractor fire - Gunthorpe - Peterborough

At 5.42pm on Saturday (17) one crew from Dogsthorpe and one crew from the Peterborough Volunteers Fire Brigade were called to a fire on Manor Drive in Gunthorpe, Peterborough.

Firefighters arrived to find a tractor well alight on the side of the highway. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 6.45pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
