House fire - Stapleford - South Cambs

At 9.09pm on Sunday (18) crews were called to a fire on Joscelynes in Stapleford.

Crews from Cambridge, Linton, and Saffron Walden in Essex attended the scene.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire in the attic of a house. Flames could be seen going through the roof space. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and jets. They returned to their stations by 1.55am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
