At 10.39pm on Tuesday (27) two crews from Wisbech were called to a road traffic collision in Sutton Road, Newton near Wisbech.
A single vehicle was in collision with a tree and firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to rescue one male casualty, who was left in the care of the ambulance service.
Crews returned to their station by 11.55pm.
