Combine harvester fire - Coates - Fenland

Crews from Whittlesey and Stanground were called to a combine harvester fire in Eldernell Lane which had spread to a stubble fire.

Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and a hose reel to extinguish the fire before returning to their stations by 5.19pm.

Cause of the fire was accidental.
