Field fire - Chatteris - Fenland

Crews from Chatteris and March were called to a stubble fire in a field along the A142 where eight to ten bales and an acre of stubble were well alight.

Firefighters used beaters and a hose reel to extinguish the fire and returned to their stations by 4.43pm.

Cause of the fire was accidental.
