Road traffic collision - Nene Parkway Northbound - Peterborough

Crews from Dogsthorpe, Stanground and the Peterborough Volunteers Fire Brigade were called to a road traffic collision involving two cars on the Nene Parkway Northbound in Peterborough.

Crews used specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof of a car and extricate a casualty who was suffering from a spinal injury and was left in the care of of ambulance staff at the scene.

Firefighters returned to their stations by 10.36pm.
