Road traffic collision – A14 - South Cambs

At 9.29am on Tuesday (5) three crews from Cambridge were called to a road traffic collision on the A14.

Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving a large goods vehicle and two cars on the eastbound carriageway between Girton and Histon. Using specialist cutting equipment they released two casualties who were taken to hospital by air ambulance.

The crews returned to their station by 11.15am.
