Barn fire - Yaxley - Huntingdonshire

At 5.02pm on Thursday (14) one crew from Stanground, one crew from Yaxley and one crew from Dogsthorpe were called to a fire on Station Road in Yaxley.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in an open sided barn, involving derelict machinery and pallets. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 6.25pm.

The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
