Train fire – Stibbington - Huntingdonshire

At 5.57pm on Monday (13) one crew from Dogsthorpe and one crew from Stanground were called to a fire at Nene Valley Railway in Stibbington.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a train carriage, which was being refurbished in a workshop. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 7.35pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
