Flat fire – Orton Brimbles - Peterborough

At 8.08am on Sunday (21) two crews from Stanground were called to a fire on Gostwick in Orton Brimbles.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a ground floor flat. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and cleared the smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The crews returned to their station by 9.25am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
