House fire - Bretton - Peterborough

On Wednesday (21) at 10.31pm, one crew from Stanground and one crew from Dogsthorpe were called to a house fire on Eyrescroft, Bretton.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire in a first floor bedroom.

Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before using a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the smoke.

The crew returned to their station by 11.45pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
