Stack fire - Brampton - Huntingdonshire

On Saturday (24) at 11.52am, one crew from Huntingdon and one crew from Papworth were called to a stack fire on Thrapston Road, Brampton.

Crews arrived to find a bonfire had spread to a nearby stack.

Firefighters worked with farm personnel to reduce the size of the stack and used hose reels to extinguish the fire. The stack was regularly inspected during the course of the weekend.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
