Vehicle fire – A1 - Peterborough

At 3.35pm on Tuesday (22) one crew from Dogsthorpe and one crew from Stanground were called to a fire on the A1.

Firefighters arrived to find a fire involving a horsebox in a layby on the eastbound carriage way near Wansford. The extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 4.55pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
