At 12.18pm on Friday (22) two crews were called to a road traffic collision on the A505 at Flint Cross.

The south roaming fire engine from Cambridgeshire and one crew from Royston in Hertfordshire attended the incident.

Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving a car and a van. Using specialist cutting equipment they released one female casualty who was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The crews returned to their stations by 2.20pm.
