Garage fire – Whittlesford - South Cambs

At 2.36pm on Saturday (23) the south roaming fire engine, along with a crew from Royston in Hertfordshire and Newport in Essex, were called to a fire on West End in Whittlesford.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving a garage that was spreading to nearby fencing and a caravan. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet.

The crews returned to their stations by 5.30pm.
