Tractor fire – A16 - Peterborough

At 9.25am on Monday (23) one crew from Stanground and the north roaming fire engine were called to a fire on the A16.

Firefighters arrived to find a tractor well alight on a grass verge near Newborough. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 10.45am.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
