Fire in the open – Farcet - Huntingdonshire

At 5.24pm on Wednesday (25) one crew from Stanground and the north roaming fire engine were called to a fire on Cross Street in Farcet.

Firefighters arrived to find a well-developed fire involving around 10 by 10 metres of grass. They extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their stations by 6.20pm.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
